The Thakuri Samaj UK is established in 2004 to promote the culture, language, heritage, social norms and values; and to preserve the history and traditions of one of the ethnic groups of Nepal – Thakuri.

How Can You Join?
To join we need a completed application and membership dues for the first year. Please contact General Secretary, Secretary, Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer or any member of Thakuri Samaj UK for more information.
Who Can Join?
The ordinary members of society are limited to Thakuri jats only. We invite Thakuris and their cheli betees interested in the issues and topics. Members must be able to dedicate enough time to participate and make a difference in the organisation. The Committee’s decision on this matter will be final in the event of membership dispute issues.
Benefits of Joining
There are several benefits to become a member of our organisation. Our members are close friends and we have a great time when we get together. Of course, we also have a common interest, and we hope to further our cause. We are always looking for Thakuris interested in joining our organisation.
